Job Summary
Apt Resources is seeking an IT Executive for our this role you will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure supporting digital advertising systems and ensuring reliable network operations. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced digital solutions in a dynamic environment all while maintaining operational confidentiality regarding our clients detailed operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Server & Network Management:
- Maintain configure and troubleshoot servers and IT infrastructure.
- Set up and manage cloudbased servers ensuring security and efficiency.
- Configure and manage firewalls to protect against security threats.
Email & Software Management:
- Create and manage email accounts for employees.
- Maintain Microsoft licenses and ensure compliance.
- Track software license expiration dates and recommend best upgrade practices.
Data Security & Backup:
- Implement and manage data backup solutions.
- Ensure data security policies are followed and updated as per industry standards.
- Perform regular security checks and vulnerability assessments.
Hardware & Software Maintenance:
- Conduct health checks of PCs servers and network devices.
- Assess and recommend appropriate hardware/software solutions.
- Manage IT inventory including procurement and disposal of obsolete hardware.
IT Support & Reporting:
- Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot ITrelated issues.
- Prepare reports on software/hardware status including expiry dates and upgrade plans.
- Ensure IT policies and procedures are adhered to and updated regularly.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers cloud computing and cybersecurity.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration and licensing.
- Handson experience with hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in firewall configuration and network security.
- Ability to assess and recommend IT solutions based on organizational needs.
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- CompTIA Security
- ITIL Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
