Industrial Chemist

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Chemistry or a closely related subject
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel
• Achievement oriented and results focused
• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of chemistry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good math skills and the ability to perform calculations
• Familiarity with lab safety standards and handling of hazardous materials
• Proven ability to manage sampling and testing
• Ability to work continuously in details and maintain accuracy
• Strong personal HSE focus and commitment
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry 2 to 3 year's technical diploma with piping design specific training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
