HVAC Technician

1. HVAC Installation & Maintenance

Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including package units, split units,

VRF/VRV systems, exhaust fans, and fresh air systems.

Cany out preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, motors, coils, filters,

and refrigerant circuits.

Perform refrigerant charging, leak testing, evacuation, and brazing as required.

Install and align ducting, insulation, flexible connections, dampers, and diffusers.

Ensure proper airflow, temperature control, and system balancing.

2. MEP System Support

Assist in the installation of chilled water piping, drainage, and condensate lines.

Support mechanical works such as equipment mounting, pump connections, and pipe

insulation.

Coordinate with electricians for control wiring, thermostats, and BMS connections.

Work closely with supervisors and technicians to complete site tasks efficiently.

3. Quality & Compliance

Follow approved installation procedures, drawings, and manufacturer guidelines.

Conduct self-inspection of completed work before QA/QC verification.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.

Report system defects, material shortages, or deviations to the supervisor promptly.

4. Tools, Equipment & Safety

Operate HVAC tools and equipment such as vacuum pumps, manifold gauges, leak

detectors, and power tools safely.

Maintain tools and testing equipment in proper working condition.

Follow all HSE rules including PPE usage, lock-out/tag-out, and hot-work or

confined-space procedures when applicable.

Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.

5. Documentation & Coordination

Record daily activities, service reports, refrigerant usage, and maintenance logs when

required.

Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and QA/QC inspectors for inspections and

approvals.

Support material identification, tagging, and traceability as per project requirements.
