HSE Engineer Electrical

Atkinsrealis is seeking a highly experienced and qualified HSE (Health Safety and Environment) Engineer to join our team for a District Cooling project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE management extensive experience in the construction industry and a proven track record of ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

• Develop implement and monitor HSE policies procedures and guidelines for the construction project.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Provide HSE training to site staff and contractors to promote awareness and best practices in safety.
• Investigate accidents incidents and near misses and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with project management and subcontractors to resolve HSE issues and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of HSE performance including incident reports inspections and training documentation.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Participate in HSE meetings risk assessments and emergency response drills as required.
• Keep abreast of industry trends developments and best practices in HSE management.

• Minimum of 7 Plus years of experience in HSE management with at least 2 years in UAE.
• Level 6 diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) or equivalent.
• Good proficiency in DM and ADOSH (Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health System Framework).
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification.
• Strong personality with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in building and Infra construction projects is essential.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE and available for face-to-face client interviews.
