Laboratory Team Leader for our Fine Fragrance Creation & Application teams - Your future position

To support our growing activities we are looking for a passionate and experienced Laboratory Team Leader to join our Fragrance Creation & Application function. Based in a collaborative laboratory environment you will play a key role in ensuring seamless laboratory operations while supporting our creative development and commercial teams.

In this role reporting to the Fine Fragrance Creative Center Director you will supervise a team of technicians and coordinate daily laboratory activities in full compliance with EH&S standards.

In this exciting role you will:

• Coordinate daily activities of the Application and Creation laboratories.
• Define priorities in alignment with creative development and sales needs.
• Provide expert technical support to Creation Development and Sales teams as well as external customers.
• Act as a key point of contact for specific customers or projects.
• Investigate technical issues related to stability or applications and develop tested solutions.
• Update maintain and share technical documentation methodologies and protocols.
• Supervise coach and mentor a team of laboratory technicians.
• Plan organise and optimise team workload to meet business objectives.
• Support HR related processes including performance management development and succession planning.
• Foster a positive collaborative team culture focused on safety quality and continuous improvement.

You

Are you a hands on laboratory leader who enjoys combining technical expertise with people leadership Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where science meets creativity If you are passionate about fragrances and motivated to support teams we would love to hear from you.

Your professional profile includes:

• Degree or higher education qualification in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a laboratory or technical environment.
• At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising laboratory teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of fragrances formulation application and stability testing.
• Good understanding of ISO GMP EH&S requirements and laboratory best practices.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Leadership mindset with the ability to engage motivate and develop others.
