Job Summary

Overview

Were looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Tech Lead to take over the Statements System a PHP-based web application currently backed by SQLite with planned migration to PostgreSQL and deployment to AWS. This is a foundational role in a startup spun off from a successful fintech company.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the Statements System (front-end back-end and DB).
Migrate from SQLite to PostgreSQL ensuring data integrity and performance.
Refactor and maintain PHP-based APIs and web interfaces.
Deploy and manage the application in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
Implement CI/CD pipelines basic infrastructure-as-code and monitoring.
Ensure security best practices across stack (web DB cloud).
Support minor business logic changes in the statement calculation engine.
Liaise with product and operations teams for ongoing improvements.
