The Financial Planning Analyst will be based in Dubai and report directly to the FP&A Manager AME. The role supports financial planning and analysis across the Middle East and Africa region providing insights to drive strategic decision-making and business performance. You will partner closely with Sales Marketing and regional finance teams.
Responsibilities:
Financial planning and analysis operations:
Consolidate and interpret companys financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
Report to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances
Manage the preparation of the companys budget and rolling forecasts
Finance and business partnership
Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement One sentence about main responsibility
Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput
Engage in ongoing cost efficiency in all areas of the company
Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement
Support decision making process at operational level with the area managers and department heads.
Assist in the determination of product pricing and value chain analysis
Strategic guidance
Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
Lead business cases for strategic initiatives
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education Master other certification:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field
MBA / MSc is a plus
Experience (years):
Minimum 5 years of experience Experience in Middle East markets required
Technical Skills:
Strong financial analysis and forecasting
Advanced SAP and Excel skills
Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
IFRS knowledge
Languages Skills:
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
Soft/Behavioral Skills:
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced matrix organization
Strong communication and stakeholder management
Ownership and accountability
Ability to simplify complex financial concepts
