Job Description

- Consistently engages and interacts with guests of all ages in a professional, educational fun manner while delivering high-quality guest experience programs
- Conducts Education Programs for special events and daily operations, in coordination with the Education Support Manager, other Educators, Sales, Marketing, Guest Experiences and Animal Husbandry team.
- Conducts frequent fact-based animal presentations and guided tours for on, off sight, special events and overnight experiences
- Works closely with the Education Support Manager in order to deliver excellent, transformational zoological programming, ensures offerings are relevant and compelling to today’s audiences in content and delivery
- Operates independently with minimal supervision while providing incredible guest service and innovating new experiences
- Initiates interaction with guests to proactively provide animal and information about the Park
- Monitors guests and animal safety in coordination with the Animal Husbandry team
- Promotes products, services and activities to the guests
- Maintains knowledge of the park information, updates and promotions
- Responds to guests queries/complaints with effective resolution under guidance from the Education Support manager when needed
- Completes all required trainings and maintains professional development and competencies
- Fosters a culture of human and animal safety; following all safety policies and practices with a knowledge of all appropriate protective equipment in accordance to HSE policy
- Prepares education and tour materials and maintains its professional appearance
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the workplace for designated areas
- Performs other duties as assigned
