Job Summary
Manages design delivery for multiple projects ensuring adherence to design criteria standards and scope development including procurement of consultants and thirdparty reviewers.
Develops engineering work scope reports schedules budgets and monitors project progress to ensure timely delivery within budget.
Leads engineering calculations material estimates designs and requisitions for procurement while ensuring design deliverables are submitted on schedule.
Coordinates with engineers contractors and regulatory agencies to ensure the best implementation and installation of services and supports project management with design reviews and audits.
Assists Project Manager with technical fiscal and administrative tasks ensures client requirements are met and handles scope changes change orders and project documentation.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 15 years experience with at least 5 years in the Middle East preferably Dubai
Hydrology and Stormwater Engineering systems design background and previous experience of supervision of design teams is required
Hands on experience in delivering master planning & design projects
Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on a project. Proficient in SWMM Info Works ICM Sewer Gems design and analysis software; AutoCAD and Civil3D; CDE and BIM is required. Registration as a professional engineer is desired but not mandatory.
Shall be aware about the requirements for the hydraulic design of Pump stations.
Shall have good experience in creating utility cross sections as per requirements of local authorities in the Gulf region like RTA (Dubai) DMT (Abu Dhabi) MOMRA (KSA) etc.
