Job Summary
We are urgently hiring a skilled Desi Chef for a restaurant in Al Ain. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in preparing a variety of popular street food and traditional snacks ensuring authentic taste quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Desi street food items including pani puri sev puri samosa chaat channa chaat and bhel puri
- Prepare snacks such as pav bhaji aloo samosa kachori and pakora
- Make beverages including karak tea and coffee
- Ensure consistency in taste presentation and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control
- Follow food safety guidelines and kitchen procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Desi Chef or street food specialist
- Strong knowledge of Indian/Pakistani/Nepali/Bangladeshi cuisine
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and teamwork skills
- Immediate availability preferred
