Communication Internship/Apprenticeship

Are you passionate about the power of positive communication and building meaningful connections Do you want to gain hands-on experience while contributing to programs that make a tangible difference in how people relate to each other We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Communication Intern or Apprentice to join our team. This role is central to amplifying the reach and impact of our Talents of Endearment programs. You will work directly with our communications lead gaining practical skills in content creation digital marketing and community engagement all while supporting a mission-driven organization focused on the heart of human interaction.

• Content Creation & Curation:
  

  • Assist in developing engaging content (social media posts blog articles email newsletters short videos) highlighting Talents of Endearment concepts program benefits participant stories and practical tips.
    

  • Help maintain and update website content related to programs and services.
    

  • Source and create visuals (images simple graphics) that reflect our warm and inclusive brand.
    

• Social Media & Digital Engagement:
  

  • Support the execution of social media strategies (e.g. LinkedIn Instagram Facebook) to build community and promote programs.
    

  • Monitor social media channels engage with followers and help manage online conversations.
    

  • Assist in tracking basic social media analytics and reporting on engagement.
    

• Program Communication Support:
  

  • Help draft communication materials for program participants (welcome emails reminders feedback surveys).
    

  • Assist in preparing presentation materials (e.g. simple slides) for workshops or events.
    

  • Support internal communication efforts related to program updates.
    

• Research & Learning:
  

  • Research communication trends especially related to empathy emotional intelligence and relationship-building topics.
    

  • Research potential outreach partners or platforms aligned with our mission.
    

  • Actively learn about Talents of Endearment methodologies and principles.
    

• Administrative Support:
  

  • Assist with managing email inquiries related to programs and communications.
    

  • Help maintain organized communication files and asset libraries.
    

  • Provide logistical support for virtual or in-person communication events/webinars.
    

• Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program related to Communications Marketing Public Relations Journalism Psychology Sociology Humanities or a related field. OR Demonstrated passion and aptitude for communication and human connection.
  

• Skills:
  

  • Strong Written Communication: Ability to write clearly concisely and engagingly for different audiences and platforms.
    

  • Basic Digital Literacy: Familiarity with major social media platforms; willingness to learn new tools quickly (e.g. Canva Mailchimp basic video editing).
    

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
    

  • Collaboration: Eagerness to work as part of a team and contribute positively.
