Job Summary
We are looking for a Commis 1 to join our culinary team and support the creation of high-quality memorable dining experiences. This role is essential in assisting the kitchen in preparation cooking and maintaining standards that reflect the spirit of adventure community and authenticity of our retreat.
Culinary Support & Preparation
Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
Ensure ingredients are prepped organized and ready for service.
Follow recipes and instructions carefully to maintain consistency and quality.
Support plating and presentation of dishes according to restaurant standards.
Hygiene Safety & Standards
Adhere to hygiene sanitation and food safety standards at all times.
Maintain clean and organized workstations tools and storage areas.
Handle ingredients equipment and utensils safely and responsibly.
Report any equipment issues hazards or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
Collaboration & Teamwork
Work closely with chefs kitchen staff and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in cleaning and organizing the kitchen before during and after service.
Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements when appropriate.

Qualifications :
Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary training preferred.
Basic knowledge of food preparation cooking techniques and hygiene standards.
Friendly approachable and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to work shifts weekends and public holidays as required.
