We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman with experience in the construction industry in Dubai/UAE. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate civil and structural drawings shop drawings as-built drawings and coordination drawings for residential commercial high-rise and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and excellent understanding of construction drawings site coordination and UAE construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Drawing Preparation

• Prepare detailed civil and structural shop drawings
  
• Develop GA drawings section details elevation drawings and layout drawings
  
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site conditions
  
• Modify and revise drawings as per consultant/client comments
  
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and UAE standards
  

Coordination & Technical Support

• Coordinate with:
  • Project Engineers
    
  • Site Engineers
    
  • Architects
    
  • Structural Engineers
    
  • MEP teams
    
• Prepare coordinated drawings for construction execution
  
• Assist project teams in resolving drawing discrepancies
  
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation control
  

Site & Construction Support

• Interpret construction drawings and BOQ requirements
  
• Prepare reinforcement detailing and concrete detailing drawings
  
• Support site teams with technical drafting requirements
  
• Ensure timely submission of drawings for approvals
  

Documentation & Standards

• Maintain proper drawing revisions and records
  
• Ensure compliance with consultant standards and municipality requirements
  
• Prepare quantity-related drawings and detailed layouts
  

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Civil Drafting or Civil Engineering
  

Experience

• Minimum 38 years experience as Civil Draftsman
  
• Mandatory UAE/GCC construction industry experience
  
• Experience in:
  • High-rise buildings
    
  • Villas
    
  • Commercial buildings
    
  • Infrastructure projects preferred
    

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in:
