Job Description

  • Assist in developing and implementing human resources strategies, policies, and procedures that support the overall business objectives of the hotel.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop effective workforce planning strategies.
  • Support the development and implementation of comprehensive training and development programs to enhance employee performance and engagement.
  • Oversee employee relations initiatives, ensuring a positive work environment and resolving any employee-related issues or conflicts.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Support the performance management process, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Assist in developing and managing employee retention strategies to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and propose proactive solutions to address any issues.
  • Stay up to date with HR best practices, industry trends, and legal requirements, and make recommendations for improvements to HR policies and procedures.

Key Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in human resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Solid knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, training and development, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
