ELECTRICAL SITE SUPERVISION ENGINEER (SWITCHGEAR & TRANSFORMER)
Responsibilities:
- Perform site activities for Transmission power substation Equipment such as Gas insulated
- Switchgear rated 132kv & 400kv and power Transformer rated 132/11kv & 400/132kv.
- Site Safe Receipt Procurement Inspection installation Testing activities in line with the approved
- test forms.
- Validate approved design drawings and review As-built drawings.
- Maintain the overall quality of transmission equipment by resolving conflicts occurred during site
- activities related to technical issues reviewing method statement reporting non-conformities to line
- Manager and follow up with stakeholders for rectification.
- Follow and adhere to the OH&S Management System Manual as per DEWA's safety standards.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the reporting line manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 -7 years experience in high voltage transmission field of substation equipment
- Problem solving skills
- Knowledge in International Standards (IEEE IEC BS)
- Proficiency in technical report writing
