Job Summary
Merchant Support Agent $2000$3200 USD/month Fully Remote
Location: Fully remote you can be based anywhere in the world
Hours: Flexible some overlap with US EST or UK GMT for peak trading hours
Salary: $2000$3200 USD/month
Contract: Full-time permanent
About the company
Remote World is partnering with a US-based B2B marketplace to hire for this role. They connect thousands of product suppliers with retail buyers across North America and Europe and their merchant support team is what keeps sellers listing shipping and growing on the platform.
The role
Youll support merchants via live chat and email helping them set up listings resolve order disputes navigate shipping and fulfilment and get the most out of the platform. Youll be the expert sellers turn to when things get complicated.
What youll do
- Handle inbound queries from merchants via live chat and email
- Help sellers create and optimise product listings on the platform
- Investigate and resolve order disputes between suppliers and buyers
- Escalate platform bugs and billing issues with full context
- Identify gaps in merchant documentation and flag to the content team
What youll need
- Clear professional written English for B2B communication
- Methodical and organised you manage multiple open cases at once
- Comfortable navigating e-commerce and marketplace platforms
- Proactive you follow up without being chased
Nice to have
- Experience supporting merchants or sellers on a marketplace platform
- Familiarity with Shopify Amazon Seller Central or similar
- Understanding of B2B wholesale or supply chain processes
