Role Summary:

The Production Supervisor will oversee the manufacturing process ensuring efficiency quality and safety while meeting production goals and deadlines. This position demands a proactive leader with strong communication and organizational skills to manage production teams and foster a collaborative high-performance culture. The supervisor will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality standards ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing workflows to drive continuous addition they will play a key role in resource allocation inventory management and troubleshooting operational challenges. This role is critical to maintaining seamless production operations achieving company objectives and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of production workers.

Provide guidance training and support to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team.

Production Planning: Collaborate with the production manager to plan and prioritize production schedules.

Allocate resources and monitor production to meet targets and deadlines.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards.

Conduct regular inspections and address any deviations from quality specifications.

Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Conduct safety training and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

Implement best practices to streamline production workflows.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies.

Minimize waste and optimize material usage.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with team members and other departments.

Report production progress and address any issues promptly.

Performance Metrics: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production goals.

Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

Strong ability to guide mentor and manage production teams effectively.

Skilled in scheduling and resource allocation to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of quality control processes and adherence to standards.

Expertise in safety protocols and training to ensure a secure work environment.

Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies.

Understanding of manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

Proficient in resource management to minimize waste and optimize materials.

Strong problem-solving and data analysis capabilities.

Flexible and resilient in dynamic production environments.
