Job Summary
Manage cost estimation budgeting and project financial control.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and MEP projects based on design documents specifications and market data.
- Develop and manage project budgets ensuring alignment with financial goals and client requirements.
- Monitor project expenditures in real time identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and generate regular financial reports for stakeholders.
- Support tender submissions by providing competitive and well-documented cost proposals.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate financial performance and inform future estimations.
Requirements
Civil & MEP 5 to 8 Years Experience
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in cost estimation and budgeting within civil and MEP construction projects.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. CostX Primavera MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies materials and labor costs.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience with tendering processes and contract management is highly desirable.
Required Skills:
Engineer Certified Proven experience with Oracle ERP systems in a construction or project management environment Strong organizational and documentation management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven setting Proficiency in project lifecycle administration and process optimization
