Job Summary

Were currently hiring an Assistant Manager Packaging Innovation to join a dynamic and growing food manufacturing business in the region.

If you have a strong background in packaging development for food or beverage products this could be a great opportunity to step into a role where youll directly influence product quality cost efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

What youll be doing:

Lead the development of packaging solutions for new and existing food products
Evaluate and select packaging materials (flexible rigid etc.)
Conduct testing related to shelf life durability and product compatibility
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (e.g. HACCP GMP)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production QA and Marketing
Identify opportunities to optimize packaging cost and improve efficiency
Support sustainability initiatives through innovative packaging approaches

Requirements

What were looking for:

8 years of experience in packaging development within FMCG or food manufacturing
Hands-on experience with packaging materials testing and validation
Strong understanding of food safety and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to work closely with factory operations and product teams
Experience in cost reduction and packaging optimization is a strong advantage
