Job Summary
Job Title: Civil Structural Engineer
Job Summary
A competent Civil Structural Engineer is required to design analyze and oversee the construction of structural components for residential commercial and industrial projects. The role involves ensuring safety stability and compliance with international engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for RCC steel and composite structures
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings calculations and reports
- Review architectural designs and provide structural inputs
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international standards
- Conduct site inspections and monitor structural work progress
- Coordinate with architects contractors and project teams
- Identify and resolve structural design issues efficiently
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and safety
- Prepare BOQs and material specifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Masters Degree in Structural Engineering (Preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in structural design
- Experience working on residential commercial or industrial projects
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles and codes (ACI BS Eurocodes)
- Proficiency in software such as ETABS STAAD Pro SAFE AutoCAD
- Ability to perform load calculations and structural analysis
- Understanding of soil-structure interaction and foundation design
- Good project coordination and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
