Job Summary:

A skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer Mechanical is required to oversee the maintenance troubleshooting and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and equipment. The role involves ensuring optimal performance minimizing downtime and maintaining safety and quality standards in industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning scheduling and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment
  
• Monitoring the performance of machinery and identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency
  
• Troubleshooting mechanical failures and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime
  
• Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
  
• Maintaining detailed maintenance records reports and documentation
  
• Coordinating with production and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow
  
• Managing spare parts inventory and ensuring availability of critical components
  
• Supervising maintenance technicians and guiding them on technical issues
  
• Conducting root cause analysis for equipment failures and implementing corrective actions
  
• Supporting installation commissioning and testing of new machinery and equipment
  

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  
• Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance preferably in industrial/manufacturing environments
  
• GCC experience will be an added advantage
  

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems rotating equipment pumps compressors and HVAC systems
  
• Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
  
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
  
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Strong communication and team coordination abilities
  
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns
  
• Willingness to work in shifts if required
  
• Good physical condition and attention to detail
