Job Summary
1. Construction Work
Lay bricks concrete blocks stones or tiles to build walls partitions arches chimneys and other structures.
Use mortar or other bonding agents to bind units together.
Align structures horizontally and vertically using levels plumb bobs and straightedges.
2. Surface Preparation
Measure and mark layout lines on surfaces.
Mix and prepare mortar cement or grout by hand or with mixing machines.
Cut or shape materials using tools like hammers chisels and saws.
3. Repair and Maintenance
Restore or repair damaged masonry including repointing mortar joints.
Replace cracked or broken bricks or stones.
Waterproof or seal masonry surfaces if required.
