Job Summary
Apt Resources is on the lookout for a charming and inviting Hostess to join a dynamic restaurant team in this role you will be the face of the restaurant responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests from the moment they arrive. Your duties will include greeting patrons managing reservations and ensuring a streamlined seating process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills a friendly demeanor and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the restaurant with a friendly smile
- Manage reservations and maintain an efficient seating plan
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate wait times accurately and manage waiting lists
- Coordinate with the wait staff to ensure guest satisfaction and timely service
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any potential issues
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Support staff during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Hostess or similar role in a restaurant
- Strong customer service skills and a welcoming attitude
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is an advantage
- Proficient in reservation systems
