Job Summary
Apt Resources is looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join a vibrant restaurant located in this role you will be responsible for welcoming guests managing reservations and ensuring a smooth seating process. You will be the face of the restaurant and play a key role in creating a positive first impression and overall enjoyable dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating plan
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Provide information about the restaurants offerings and answer guest inquiries
- Coordinate with the wait staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception area
- Assist wait staff and other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Hostess in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and handle challenging situations professionally
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is an advantage
