(Freelance or Full-Time Early-Stage Setup Luxury Residences & Hospitality)
A client operating in the luxury serviced residences and hospitality sector is seeking an Accountant to support the early-stage and ongoing financial operations of the business across two entities.
The businesses are already licensed and set up; however as an early-stage operation the role requires a hands-on and practical finance professional who can support daily operations and take ownership of finance-related matters as they arise working closely with the founders.
The engagement may be structured as freelance (part-time) or full-time depending on the suitability of the candidate.
Scope of Role
Support day-to-day financial operations during the early stage of the business
Take ownership of finance-related matters as they arise ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
Manage basic accounting reporting and cash flow monitoring for two entities
Support budget tracking and expense control
Ensure UAE compliance requirements are met
Support US financial reporting and tax coordination with guidance from external advisors where required
Assist founders by providing practical financial information needed for decision-making
Liaise with external parties only as required (e.g. accountants banks service providers)
Candidate Profile
58 years of relevant finance experience
Strong working knowledge of UAE accounting reporting and compliance
Exposure to US financial reporting and/or tax filing is required
Experience supporting start-up early-stage or small growing businesses
