Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator Asphalt / Roads to support tendering and cost estimation activities for road and infrastructure projects. The role requires strong expertise in asphalt production cost analysis and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure competitive and accurate project bids.
Key Responsibilities
Tendering & Estimation
Review drawings BOQs specifications and project scope
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for asphalt works
Estimate production costs including bitumen aggregates fuel manpower and equipment
Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations
Costing & Coordination
Calculate plant production costs (per ton/m²)
Estimate transportation plant and machinery usage
Prepare cost analysis P&L projections and update rates based on market trends
Coordinate with operations procurement finance and QA/QC teams
Documentation & Support
Prepare quotations pricing sheets and tender submissions
Maintain cost databases and track bid outcomes
Support project teams with planning variations and costing
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
35 years of experience in asphalt estimation/road projects (UAE preferred)
Strong knowledge of asphalt production and paving operations
Proficiency in MS Excel and analytical tools
Ability to interpret drawings BOQs and technical specifications
