Job Summary
Job Title: Waste Handler
salary: 1420 AED
Contract details: Full-time job
Location: UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect waste materials from designated areas and transport them to the disposal site
- Sort waste materials according to type and dispose of them in the appropriate containers
- Operate and maintain waste collection equipment such as trucks and compactors
- Ensure all waste materials are handled and disposed of in compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including disposal sites and storage areas
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
- Assist in the training and supervision of new waste handlers
- Keep accurate records of waste collection and disposal activities
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent- 12 years in waste management preferably in industrial or commercial settings
- Understanding of waste management regulations and procedures
- Ability to operate waste management equipment safely
- Able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong organizational skills and careful handling of tasks
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with others
