Job Description
Job Purpose:
Launching and Managing an Equity Financing activity. Integrated in the Global Securities Financing team recognized for its solid expertise in Credit repo you will be the one person in charge of launching and managing an Equity financing trading activity within First Abu Dhabi Bank. The clientdriven model that proved to be profitable and sustainable with fixed income will have to be replicated in Equity Finance to offer clients from GCC in particular but not only liquidity shortcovering in various jurisdictions and an easier access to local shares. You will bring your contribution to build P&L or Risk reports and advice on improving processes for trading decisions or FOtoBO. In your role you will have to frequently interact with the structuring team to elaborate new products and enrich the banks offer as well as optimize the use of capital and generate alpha from inherited positions. You will bring your support to the sales force to onboard new clients.
Key Accountabilities:
- Launch a clientdriven Equity financing trading activity
- Optimization of use of scarce resources
- Carefully manage your risk and reach P&L target defined for the activity
- Contribute to develop reports and processes for a reliable followup of the business
- Help spreading your expertise within the GSF team
- Onboard the use of swap futures options within the GSF perimeter to make sure synergies are developed and all the value is extracted from the activity

Qualifications :
- A minimum of 10year experience in the capital markets industry with a strong and proven track record in Equity trading and particularly Equity Financing.
- Practical knowledges in usual products used in Equity financing activity (TRS IRS Futures Options )
- Knowledge in Middle East equity markets
- Being familiar with Murex and Triparty platforms
- Autonomous and entrepreneur with a team spirit
