Swisstel Al Murooj in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an enthusiastic and detailoriented Bar Manager to join our team. As the Bar Manager youll play a crucial role in overseeing our bar operations ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
- Manage daytoday bar operations including inventory control staff scheduling and maintaining a clean wellstocked environment
- Create innovative drink menus and collaborate with the kitchen team on food offerings
- Monitor and analyze customer behavior and sales trends to optimize bar performance
- Develop and maintain a budget focusing on cost control and profitability
- Plan and execute special events and promotions to attract and retain customers
- Hire train and supervise bar staff fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Ensure compliance with local alcohol service laws and health and safety regulations
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Implement and manage pointofsale systems and bar management technologies
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction
- Continuously evaluate and improve bar offerings service quality and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement strategies to increase bar revenue and profitability
- Conduct regular staff meetings to address concerns share feedback and improve team performance
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new ideas to keep the bar offerings fresh and appealing
- Manage customer feedback and complaints ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining a positive reputation for the establishment
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years experience managing a highvolume sports bar establishment.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute largescale events including major sports viewing parties trivia nights and live music performances to create a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
- Proven track record of collaborating effectively with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop and implement strategic promotional initiatives including daily and weekly promotions and social media marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional networking skills to establish and maintain relationships with local sports teams leagues and businesses with the aim of enhancing visibility and fostering customer loyalty.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining a robust regular guest database for the sports bar utilizing customer relationship management techniques.
- Substantial experience working with business promoters to drive traffic and increase revenue.
- Indepth knowledge of inventory management cost control measures and financial planning specific to sports bar operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of various sports and a genuine passion for the industry essential for elevating the overall experience for sports enthusiasts.
