Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Core Knowledge Areas in Economics

  1. Microeconomics:

    • Understanding individual and firm-level decision-making.
    • Topics: Supply and demand, consumer behavior, production theory, market structures.
  2. Macroeconomics:

    • Analyzing economy-wide phenomena.
    • Topics: GDP, inflation, unemployment, fiscal and monetary policy.
  3. Econometrics:

    • Applying statistical methods to economic data.
    • Tools: Regression analysis, time series analysis.
  4. Development Economics:

    • Studying the economic aspects of developing countries.
    • Topics: Poverty, inequality, sustainable development.
