Job Summary: Al Reem Group is seeking a fulltime Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing and procurement of goods and services needed for the companys operations. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for identifying costeffective deals maintaining supplier relationships negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of highquality materials in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
- Source evaluate and select suppliers based on price quality service and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts terms and conditions with suppliers to secure costeffective deals.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement records contracts and reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate market trends.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant legal and regulatory standards.
- Review supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to improve service quality.
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and forecast material needs to optimize stock availability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes inventory management and supply chain management
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g. Odoo)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Immediate availability preferred
