Graduate / MBA / Engineer
Min 2-4 yrs experience in procurement & Supply chain .
High level customer service approach skills
Must possess excellent communication skill.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Problem-Solving: Quickly identifying supply chain issues (like delays or shortages) and finding practical solutions to resolve them.
Communication: Effective communication with suppliers, vendors, logistics teams, and internal stakeholders is crucial to ensure smooth operations.
Negotiation Skills: Negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliers and service providers to get the best value for the company.
Project Management: Managing timelines, coordinating teams, and ensuring that projects (e.g., product launches, new suppliers) are completed on time and within budget.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring that inventory records, shipments, and procurement documents are accurate to avoid mistakes and inefficiencies.
Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple supply chain activities at once without sacrificing quality or deadlines.
Supply Chain Management: Overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, from procurement to distribution. This includes managing suppliers, warehousing, inventory, and transportation.
Procurement: Sourcing and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement of materials or products at the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
Inventory Control: Managing inventory levels to ensure that there is neither overstocking nor stockouts. This includes forecasting demand, ordering products, and optimizing stock levels.
Logistics and Distribution: Coordinating the movement of goods, selecting the best transportation options, managing shipping schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries.
Cost Management: Analyzing costs and working to reduce them while maintaining efficiency. This may involve negotiating better terms with suppliers, optimizing routes for transportation, or improving warehouse processes.
Supplier Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that they meet performance standards, and resolving issues related to quality or delivery delays.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain (such as disruptions, delays, or shortages) and creating contingency plans to mitigate those risks.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing supply chain data to identify trends, track performance, and make informed decisions. Creating reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory turnover.
Collaboration with Other Departments: Coordinating with other departments like sales, marketing, and production to ensure alignment between supply chain operations and overall business goals.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring that the supply chain process complies with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including customs regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
