Job Description

Job Purpose

  • This position is responsible for overseeing the daytoday accounting operation reporting compliance and to assist the Director of Finance ensuring the hotel financial strategy is implemented in accordance with Hotels policy & procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

  • To supervise daily accounting operations supervising controls mentoring staff ensuring teamwork and efficient and effective operation.
  • To verify daily bank balances through review of bank statements prepare bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation for Director of Finance approval.
  • To verify the accuracy of General Cashier report and that revenue is daily deposited into the bank by the General Cashier.
  • To perform monthend accounts reconciliation of all general ledger balances before issuing monthly financial statements. Report any gaps or variance to the Director of Finance.
  • To review monthly report like F&B report Cost Controllers report etc. as per hotel policy
  • To ensure all tax payment and filing are respected timely and variances are resolved.
  • To prepare various monthly reports as required by Management.
  • To assist the Director of Finance in reviewing CAPEX application of accounting policy budgeting financial analysis and Ad hoc duties.
  • To ensure proper filing of accounting records including contracts and easy retrievals.
  • To keep updated with new regulations and Accor policies.

Qualifications :

Knowledge and Experience

  • Diploma in Accounting / Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Good reading writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Proficient in MS Excel Word PowerPoint and relevant hotel Finance and nonfinance systems
  • Proficient in Indonesian and International Accounting Standard and Taxation
