Job Description
- Leads, manages, and oversees the company’s technology, security and platform development plans.
- Serves as an internal consultant and active contributor to the strategic direction and as a central point of information and technological infrastructure.
- Stands at the helm of the platform development function. Ensures that the platform grows, develops and functions properly and stays relevant to the current market trends.
- Develops, reviews and maintains product roadmap along with CEO and leadership team. Able to translate between technical and non-technical needs.
- Leads a product engineering team and is responsible for operational technology.
- Leads a team of architects, innovation managers, and API specialists.
- Responsible for creating an MVP that can be to gain real-time user feedback as fast as possible and for a series of product iterations and is accountable for the quality of the final product.
- Manages the relationship with software development vendors/partners that are developing the platform.
- Handles interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training of technical team members.
- Mentors tech talent who can be later trusted with critical functions, and has the engineering expertise to evaluate technical knowledge.
- Understands open banking regulations, data privacy, and oversee data security and manages capacity of the platform.
- Applies technical management skills through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
- Ensures the development team follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases.
- Able to integrate third-party content and service providers to expand the company’s products and services
