Systems Applications and Products Administrator SAP

Roles and responsibilities

Perform Basis administration like SAP user administration and authorization control, installation of SAP software, monitor and fine tune SAP systems and system support activities.

Key Accountabilities

Software Administration

• Perform daily SAP monitoring, troubleshooting, and correction of the SAP environments; Create and maintain SAP system administrative jobs including job spooling reorganizations and synchronizations;
• Ensure effective security, operation and peak performance of SAP environments;
• Administrate, monitor and ensure the high availability of database;
• Conduct application of OS patching; Perform system tuning and monitoring;
• Identify and perform application of SAP support packages;
• Implement the enhancement packages from SAP;
• Perform application of identified SAP notes and transports; Troubleshoot and resolve transports errors;
• Execute and manage environment refreshes/copies; Perform SAP client administration (create, copy, delete, export/import client(s)) as needed;
• Perform SAP security administration; Administrate and monitor user application access and authorizations (add, change, delete security profiles, roles, info types and transactions);
• Provide support to the SAP Portal environment;
• Provide support and maintenance of the SAP LDAP and SSO configurations;
• Install SAP proprietary or other add-on software;
• Perform Solution Manager administration and support;
• Maintain all the SAP systems in solution Manager;
• Perform installation and configuration of TREX, Web Dispatcher, and Net weaver Gateway;
• Perform Installation, configuration, administration of Reporting systems such as BI/BO/BW;

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in any discipline. B.E computer science preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in SAP BASIS

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent SAP Basis Administration skills;
• Knowledge of OS, clustering and High availability;
• Knowledge of SAP System installation and configuration(ERP 6.0 EHP7, Net weaver systems, Solution Manager);
• Knowledge of Client administration;
• Knowledge of System copies;
• Knowledge of Roles and Authorization;
• Minimum two End to End implementation experiences;
• Knowledge of Net weaver portal;
• Knowledge of SQL Cluster;
• Experience in applying kernel patches, supports packs and upgrade (ERP and Net weaver);
• Strong English communication (written and spoken) skills;
• Ability to work with others at all levels.
