BW: SAP Business Warehouse

BI / BO: SAP Business Intelligence and Object

An SAP BW/4HANA, BI Consultant is required to design, implement, and maintain SAP BW4HANA and SAP BO/BI solutions using SAP HANA. This position requires extensive experience in SAP BW/4HANA development, data modelling, administration, and integration, as well as delivering high-performance data solutions for reporting and analytics.

Minimum

Work Experience

▪ Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP BW /BI, SAP BW/4 HANA, Native HANA.

▪ Two full cycle implementation projects on SAP BW4HANA, BI and S4HANA.

▪ A solid experience in BW/4 HANA design, architecture, configuration, modelling, data extraction and reporting areas.

▪ Experience on SAP Business Objects BI 4.0 or above including WEBI, Dashboards, IDT and Crystal Reports with SAP BW / HANA integration.

▪ Experience of integrating the Business Intelligence 4.x (BOBJ) product suite with SAP BW or SAP HANA Data Models.

▪ Hands-on experience with S/4 HANA ABAP CDS views especially with Finance objects and Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) is essential.

▪ Strong ABAP and SQLScript programming skills, Proficiency in SAP BW modelling tools.

▪ Knowledge of SAP HANA optimization techniques, understanding of business processes and reporting requirements.

Preferred

▪ 5+ years of relevant work experience in tax solutions domain

Desired candidate profile

• SAP System Configuration and Customization:

  • System Setup: Set up and configure SAP modules according to the business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and business processes.
  • Customization: Customize SAP applications to align with specific organizational needs by modifying workflows, user interfaces, and reports.

• Implementation of SAP Solutions:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Participate in the planning and execution of SAP implementation projects, from requirement gathering to system go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Module Implementation: Implement SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP CRM, SAP BW/BI, SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and others.
  • Data Migration: Support data migration processes from legacy systems to SAP systems, ensuring that data is accurately transferred and integrated.

• Business Process Analysis and Optimization:

  • Business Process Mapping: Analyze and map current business processes and identify opportunities for streamlining and improving efficiency through SAP solutions.
  • Process Optimization: Recommend and implement SAP best practices to optimize business processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.

• User Support and Training:

  • End-user Training: Train users on SAP system functionalities and processes, ensuring that they understand how to use the system effectively.
  • User Support: Provide ongoing support to end users by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and offering technical assistance when needed.
  • Documentation: Develop user manuals, training materials, and system documentation to ensure proper understanding of SAP system features and workflows.

• Integration and Technical Support:

  • System Integration: Work with other IT teams to ensure that SAP integrates seamlessly with other systems (e.g., legacy systems, third-party applications, or cloud platforms).
  • Technical Support: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and provide technical support for SAP applications and infrastructure.
  • Updates and Upgrades: Plan and execute SAP upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Reporting and Analytics:

  • Custom Reporting: Design and develop custom reports using SAP tools such as SAP Crystal Reports, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP BW (Business Warehouse), or SAP HANA to provide business intelligence and insights.
  • Dashboard Creation: Create dashboards and visualizations to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to business processes such as finance, supply chain, and production.
