MECHANICAL ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems design and a passion for delivering highquality engineering solutions. You will work closely with project managers architects and other engineers to ensure successful project execution from concept through completion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and analyze mechanical systems for HVAC plumbing and fire protection.
• Develop and review engineering drawings specifications and documentation.
• Conduct load calculations energy modeling and system simulations.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure design compatibility.
• Oversee installation processes and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist in project scheduling budgeting and cost estimation.
• Stay updated on industry trends codes and standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions and problemsolving.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical design preferably in the MEP sector.
• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit HVAC load calculation software).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems building codes and industry standards.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or EIT certification (Preferred).
• Experience with energyefficient design and sustainability practices (Preferred).
