1. Build strong relationship within the allocated Region in identifying global opportunities and attracting new trade and investment to the GCC Region and its businesses units mainly targeting International Manufacturing Companies who have established bases in targeted region.
2. Execute the BD plan seeking new business opportunities for all DP World BUs contributing towards our business development & sales efforts.
3. Assist and contribute to Business Development;
a. Identifies business opportunities in line with DP World GCC Region strategy
b. Identify & develop a portfolio of accounts to offer them a range of (tailor made) solutions
c. Screens potential new business opportunity by firming up Business Ideas in Brief Initial commercial feasibility study and financials.
d. Prepare presentations to management and recommendations for approvals
4. Conduct analysis on business opportunities highlighting areas of concern and reasons behind it for discussion and decision making with management.
5. Together with the Business Intelligence team compile & provide analytical reports on business prospects for GCC region from International Companies based in targeted region including industry types and leading commodities seeking improved business strategies.
6. Tender Management:
a. Driving the RFI response if required by sales Dissecting and reviewing the tender documents in detail and validating summaries.
b. Driving procurement (establishing costs/rates) of the relevant services offered to customers
c. Calculating relative and absolute profit estimates per service component for sign off by management.
d. Defining and driving project plans for tenders and communicating same to stakeholders
7. Customer Acquisition; Identify new business prospects and maintain a sales pipeline. Follow up on new leads to closure.
8. Conduct regular prospective visits to customers in the targeted businesses.
9. Prepare and maintain the TAPs (Target Account Plans) for monthly and quarterly review with management
10. Establish customer relationships by hosting social and informal meetings for customer satisfaction.
11. Establish and maintain relations with embassies their consulates and business attaches in the UAE and outside.
12. Perform additional assignments and projects as requested by the Business/Management
