They are now looking to expand their footprint in the Middle East market and are seeking a talented General Manager with a focus on sales management to lead this organization.
General Manager Middle East
(based in JAFZA United Arab Emirates)
Organization: Reporting directly to the Managing Director the General Manager will be responsible for executing strategies agreed upon with the company s management with the primary goal of increasing business revenue in the Middle East region. This role will focus on expanding the customer base beyond the United Arab Emirates and lead our business expansion in the Middle East market. This position will be based in Jebel Ali Free Zone area in UAE.
Your Responsibilities:
Sales Management: You will lead the sales office to acquire new customers develop business within the existing clients and key accounts and drive revenue growth in the Middle East region. Expand its brand presence in the region.
Business Strategy: You will take a proactive role in conceiving the marketing and sales strategy in consultation with the senior management team to substantially increase brand presence and market share in the region particularly Saudi Arabia.
Account Management: Develop solid and strategic relationships with existing and potential customers. Conduct customer visits along with local sales professional to increase share of business and further strengthen relationships.
Relationship Building: Develop and build strong relationships with distributors key accounts and other stakeholders. Represent the company at industry events exhibitions and meetings with clients and partners. Build a solid internal network with the offices in Asia and Europe.
People Management: You will manage develop and organize the sales and operational team s people capabilities. You will also coach train and foster a solid team spirit within the region.
Operational Oversight: Manage daytoday operations in the Middle East region ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all business processes across departments to support sales activities.
P&L Management: You will hold full Profit & Loss as well as Balance Sheet responsibility for the profitability of the business unit in the region.
