Position Summary: Our esteemed client a local leader in engineering and construction within the oil and gas industry is seeking a crane operator. Responsibilities include safely and efficiently operating cranes in both offshore and onshore environments. A successful candidate shall have 5 years of experience as a crane operator in an offshore/onshore oil and gas company including a minimum of 3 years with a similar crane type and be at least 21 years old.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate cranes in accordance with operational and safety guidelines ensuring compliance with company policies and international standards.
  

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  

• Rig and derig cranes for lifting operations following established procedures and safety protocols.
  

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate lifting activities and ensure operational efficiency.
  

• Conduct preoperational checks and maintain detailed records of crane operations and maintenance activities.
  

• Uphold a strong commitment to Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) practices throughout all crane operations.
  

• Participate in training and assessments as required by ADNOC Offshore Approved Training Providers to maintain competency in operating specific crane types.
  

• Operate Personnel Transfer Manbasket and Personnel Work Basket as trained and certified.
  

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 21 years of age.
  

• Higher secondary school certificate or equivalent educational qualification.
  

• At least 5 years of experience as a Crane Operator in an offshore/onshore oil and gas company with a minimum of 3 years operating the same type of crane.
  

• UAE Driving License from the Traffic Department (Mobile Cranes).
  

• Completion of a 3day training course by an ADNOC Offshore Approved Training Provider with biennial assessments on the same crane type operated.
  

• Certification for Personnel Transfer Manbasket and Personnel Work Basket.
  

• Certificate of Competency issued by an ADNOC Offshore Approved Training Provider upon successful completion of training and assessment.
  

• Strong understanding of crane operational and safety requirements
  

• Proficiency in operating and maneuvering cranes safely and effectively.
  

Additional Job Details:

Job Location: Musaffah Abu Dhabi

Start Date: Immediate

Rotation: 2/1 2 months on with full salary & one month off with basic salary 60% of total salary

Offshore allowance: 2000 AED
