Job Description
- Organize and set up preventive maintenance programmes for all electrical and mechanical equipment including general building works for Saadiyat Beach Club, Kai Beach and Soul Beach
- Develop, implement, and monitor all maintenance policies and procedures, inspections and schedules and maintains logs and reports.
- Maintain all equipment on site by conducting monthly safety inspections and by providing accurate records.
- Maintain effective Energy Management (by monitoring electric, gas, and water consumption monthly) and Preventive Maintenance programs and conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the facility.
- Develop, implement, and manage a maintenance program and negotiate maintenance contracts for the beaches, and all the equipment in compliance with operator standards and local, state, and national codes and regulations to ensure the safety, convenience, and satisfaction of all guests, managers, and employees to protect the asset and maintain the property in the first-class condition.
- Develop, recommend, implement, and manage the department’s budget capital expenditure plan, forecasts, and objectives consistent with maintaining a first-class property and management expectations.
- Informs the Cluster Resort Director on a regular basis regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure (s), related systems, and equipment offering prudent, cost-effective proposals for maintaining these systems.
- Supervise maintenance colleagues and contract colleagues who are carrying out minor building works, electrical and mechanical installations
- Supervise and liaise with all contractors, write specifications for all electrical, mechanical and associated building works complying with the local government regulations and inspect and sign for contractor works upon satisfactory completion
- Oversee the general maintenance of all life safety systems throughout the beaches and report any major defects
