Job Description
Permanent Position: Upholstery Specialist Location: Al Ain Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates Contract Type: FullTime Permanent Our client a reputable furniture company based in Al Ain Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Upholstery Specialist to join their team. As an Upholstery Specialist you will be responsible for repairing and restoring various types of furniture including sofas chairs and other upholstered items. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and assess furniture for damages and determine the appropriate repair methods Repair or replace damaged upholstery including fabric foam springs and frames Restyle and update furniture by changing the fabric or design Use various tools and techniques to repair and restore furniture such as sewing machines hand tools and upholstery adhesives Ensure highquality workmanship and attention to detail in all repairs Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service Stay updated on new techniques and materials in the upholstery industry Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in upholstery repair and restoration Proficient in using various tools and equipment for upholstery work Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics and their properties Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and materials Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy furniture Must be legally eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates We offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
