Barista Trainer

Our client is a prestigious culinary academy in Abu Dhabi dedicated to providing exceptional education and training in the culinary arts. They are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Barista Trainer to join their team and contribute to the development of aspiring baristas.

We are looking for an experienced and certified Barista Trainer who excels in the art of coffee making and has a proven track record of barista training particularly in 5star hotels. The ideal candidate will also have mixology experience and be fluent in Arabic to effectively communicate with a diverse group of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive barista training programs and workshops.
  
• Teach students various coffeemaking techniques including espresso preparation latte art and brewing methods.
  
• Ensure students gain practical skills and knowledge to excel in the coffee industry.
  
• Assist in creating and updating training materials and curricula for barista courses.
  
• Incorporate the latest trends and innovations in coffee making and mixology into the training programs.
  
• Ensure that all training materials meet industry standards and best practices.
  
• Provide guidance and support to students throughout their training.
  
• Assess student performance and offer constructive feedback for improvement.
  
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
  
• Oversee the daytoday operations of the training facility.
  
• Ensure the training area is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  
• Manage inventory equipment and supplies effectively.
  
• Work closely with other trainers and staff to ensure cohesive delivery of the training programs.
  
• Participate in faculty meetings events and professional development activities.
  
• Support the academys mission and goals through active engagement and collaboration.
  
• Engage with students to understand their needs goals and challenges.
  
• Organize and participate in coffeerelated events competitions and exhibitions.
  
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development among students.
  

Requirements

• Certification as a Barista Trainer from a recognized institution.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in barista training especially in 5star hotels.
  
• Strong skills and expertise in coffee making and mixology.
  
• Proficient in Arabic and English would be a plus.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
  
• Passion for coffee and the hospitality industry.
