A little taste of your day-to-day:
- Oversee the production of a wide range of French pastries, authentic Parisian breads, cakes, and pastries, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to established recipes and standards.
- Create and update pastry menu that reflect seasonal ingredients, current trends, and the preferences of our clientele while maintaining the essence of French pastry traditions.
- Maintain quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of taste, texture, presentation, freshness, and finesse in all pastry offerings.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Efficiently manage the pastry & bakery kitchen operation, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and sanitation protocols, to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Develop and manage pastry & bakery budgets, monitor food costs, and implement best practices without compromising quality or creativity.
- Work closely with the service team to address customer feedback, enhance the dining experience, and exceed guest expectations through exceptional pastry offerings.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Executive Pastry Chef, with expertise in French pastry techniques and traditions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Culinary degree or certification from a reputable institution is preferred.
