Accounting Manager

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial affairs of the facility, including preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Direct the accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate performance in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury management.
• Implement and maintain control procedures to ensure compliance with legal and fiscal regulations.
• Manage all records and accounts for periodic audits to ensure transparency and accuracy.
• Maintain strong inter-departmental relationships to foster confidence, integrity, and cooperation.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team, including mentoring and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with the finance team and other stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Serve as the primary liaison with legal and fiscal departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in financial management and decision-making.
• Previous experience in a similar managerial role within the consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software required.
