Advise Sous Chef/Chef de Partie/Demi Chef of low inventory items; assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required.
May assist by performing ware washer or other kitchen duties as needed.
Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area, including but not limited to reach-ins, walk-ins and counters.
Report all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed the state and local Health Board inspection and MAF Food Central Kitchen’s requirements.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma.
2+ years of related culinary experience, at restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
Experience working with high volume production, banquet experience preferred.
