Job Description
Job Title: Electrical and AutoCAD Draftsman
Department: Solar
Reports to: Solar Engineer
Salary: AED
Years of Experience: Minimum 4 years
Job Summary: We are looking for a detailoriented and skilled Solar Draftsman to join our team. The Solar Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and projects collaborating with engineers and ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Drawings: Create detailed technical drawings and plans for solar systems including layouts schematics and elevation drawings. Ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
Software Proficiency: Utilize computeraided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to produce accurate and efficient drawings. Stay updated on the latest CAD tools and techniques relevant to solar design.
Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers and other draftsmen to integrate electrical structural and mechanical components into solar energy system designs. Revise drawings as necessary based on engineering feedback and project requirements.
Quality Control: Perform quality checks on drawings to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies. Ensure that drawings are clear concise and suitable for construction and installation purposes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in drafting/Design Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a draftsman preferably in solar projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD SolidWorks etc.).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of solar systems and components is a plus.
