Job Description
The Director Finance is responsible for leading the organizations financial strategy planning and governance while overseeing corporate services and office administration. This role ensures strong financial stewardship through effective budgeting forecasting reporting treasury management and cost optimization while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.
The Director plays a key strategic role in supporting executive decisionmaking driving sustainable growth improving operational efficiency and ensuring robust internal controls risk management and corporate services excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management and control.
- Lead financial planning budgeting forecasting and balance sheet management.
- Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support executive decisionmaking and business growth.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on corporate strategy and business planning initiatives.
- Present financial reports performance insights new product lines and viable business opportunities to executive leadership.
Financial Operations & Performance Management
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements reports budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and strategies to maximize value generation while protecting sales performance and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance identify risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- Develop advanced forecasting models to simulate sales performance and annual target achievement.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profit margins.
Treasury Investment & Compliance
- Manage treasury activities and maximize investment income in line with approved finance and investment policies.
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations accounting standards tax laws and internal policies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions statutory auditors and key external stakeholders.
- Conduct halfyearly Risk and Compliance SelfAssessments (RCSA) document compliance levels and improvement actions and submit findings to the Risk function for followup.
- Develop and implement internal controls and risk management frameworks to safeguard organizational assets.
Systems Digitalization & Process Optimization
- Lead the development and enhancement of ERP systems workflows and system integrations.
- Drive automation and digital transformation of finance and administrative processes to minimize manual intervention.
- Ensure data accuracy system reliability and operational efficiency across finance platforms.
Corporate Services & Office Management
- Oversee all corporate services activities ensuring seamless office management and administrative operations.
- Manage and control office expenses including travel inventory supplies services and contracts.
- Ensure corporate branding standards are adhered to across all office operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee vendor performance to support organizational objectives and project delivery.
People Leadership & Development
- Provide strong leadership mentorship and direction to finance and corporate services teams.
- Foster a highperformance culture and support the development of future leaders.
- Ensure alignment accountability and collaboration across teams.
Job Requirements
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting (Required)
- Professional finance certification (e.g. CPA CA CMA ACCA CIMA) (Preferred)
- Proficiency in English (Required)
- Proficiency in Arabic (Preferred)
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a senior or managerial finance role (Required)
- Proven experience managing and leading teams (Required)
- Experience overseeing financial operations across diversified industries (Required)
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle (Required)
- Knowledge of commercial evaluations and business frameworks (Preferred)
- Industryrecognized finance certifications (Preferred)
