Role Overview
This position will contribute to the core data and technology capabilities that underpin the firms quantitative research. The successful candidate will work closely with researchers engineers and investment professionals to source new datasets derive insights and maintain production-grade data systems.

Key Responsibilities
Data Ingestion & Cleansing: Develop and maintain pipelines to clean tag and integrate new data sources.
Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory analysis generate descriptive statistics and identify patterns with potential application to investment strategies.
Data Infrastructure: Design implement and support automated systems for data collection quality assurance and retrieval.

Qualifications
Education: Ph.D. or Masters degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Physics Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: Professional experience in data science or a related field.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL and Python required; proficiency in at least one additional programming language expected. Experience with cloud computing platforms and financial datasets is preferred.
Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated ability to apply statistical and analytical techniques to large-scale real-world datasets.
Communication: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to communicate complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
