External Communication Manager

We are supporting a leading infrastructure organization looking to strengthen its external and digital communication function as part of its growth and transformation strategy.
They are seeking a Digital / External Communications Manager who can manage digital platforms campaigns and public-facing communication.
This is a standalone role requiring someone who has experience in both agency and in-house environments.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for managing the organizations external communication digital presence and campaigns ensuring strong brand positioning and stakeholder engagement.
You will report directly to the Head of Communications and work across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the external and digital communication strategy
- Manage social media platforms including content engagement and campaigns
- Oversee website content and performance (SEO updates optimization)
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (paid and organic)
- Create and manage content across digital channels
- Handle email marketing campaigns and newsletters
- Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement
- Support branding campaigns and public communication initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or related field
- 48 years of experience in digital/external communications or digital marketing
- Experience working in both agency and in-house environments is highly preferred
- Experience in infrastructure public sector or large organizations is an advantage
- Comfortable working in a standalone role with full ownership
Skills
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills
- Good understanding of social media SEO and digital campaigns
- Experience using CMS analytics tools and marketing platforms
- Strong project management and multitasking ability
- Data-driven mindset
Language & Preference
- English: Required
- Arabic: Preferred
- UAE Nationals (Emirati): Preferred
- Arabic speakers: Strong advantage
Required Skills:
